Due to the length of the intake on the RS3\/TTRS platform, reducing pressure drop between the filter and turbo inlet is more critical than on other platforms.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur 5\" setup relieves pressure drop and allows your turbo to breathe, freeing up power while running a lower wastegate duty cycle! Titanium is not a cheap material to work with, but ignoring the benefits of this aerospace material was not something we could overlook.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTitanium is what we like to call \"functionally beautiful\". Aside from being one of the most lightweight metals available, titanium has a very low heat transfer rate (\u003cem\u003e16 W\/m-K\u003c\/em\u003e) compared to aluminum (\u003cem\u003e152 W\/m K\u003c\/em\u003e), which means it is highly resistant to heat transfer from the engine bay. Our 5\" titanium intake, as a result, boasts a 5% increase in intake area when compared to a 5\" aluminum intake. We are working on a revision for this now. Multiple RHD clients have verified that this kit does fit, but due to a slightly different intake position and smaller turbo inlet on the right hand drive chassis, some modification to the heat shield may be required during installation.
