Updated Roller Rocker Arm Set, Audi EA839 2.9T/3.0T

Updated set of roller rocker arms for the EA839 2.9T/3.0T engine that suffers from premature roller failure. If you're hearing a rattling/knocking sound from your valve covers, this is likely the issue. 

The issue: Roller rockers produced before 06/08/2018 have undersized needle bearings which are known to fail, causing needles to come loose and fall inside the engine where they can be picked up by other parts. The roller becoming jammed can also cause severe camshaft damage if left for too long.

The fix: Audi released a new roller version that feature needle bearings twice the size of the originals, fixing the issue for good. Most EA839s produced after 06/08/2018 no longer have this issue due to this revision.

This set includes 24 updated rocker arms. Due to the level of complexity involved in this repair, professional installation is strongly recommended. This upgrade is best done during an engine build, but can be done any time without pulling the engine. We've seen far too many "built" engines damaged due to oversight and not updating to the new roller version.
