Titanium Wheel Stud Conversion Kit, BMW M14x1.25

Ditch your heavy, ugly stock wheel bolts or rusty steel stud conversion and do your build some justice! We've been running these titanium alloy studs on both street and track cars (including dedicated time attack and drag cars) for years with zero issues. Unlike cheap 100% titanium bolts/studs, our Ti-6Al-4V alloy is over 75% stronger than comparable steel counterparts.

Lightweight:

Stock wheel bolt: 0.1kg (100g) / 0.2lb (4oz) 

Titanium stud/nut combo: 0.045kg (45g) / 0.1lb (2oz)

Total rotational/unsprung weight savings: 1.1kg (1100g) / 2.4lb (39oz)

High Strength:

GAS Titanium wheel studs: 950 mPa (138,000 psi)

Stock wheel bolts: 540 mPa (78,300 psi)

Installation:

• Remove wheels
• If your hubs are rusty, cleaning the threads with an M14x1.25 tap before installation is highly recommended
• Install GAS wheel studs with supplied loctite on short threads
• Torque studs into hubs to 15nm using a 4mm hex socket
• Install spacers (if applicable) and wheels onto the new studs
• Torque wheel nuts to factory specifications
